Deportes son parte importante de la cultura puertorriqueña.  Grandes deportitas de fama internacional han nacido en Puerto Rico, especialmente en el beisbol, pero también en el boxeo, baloncesto, golf etc.  En las escuelas siempre hay 'field days' y justas intercolegiales.  Los juegos Panamericanos se han presentados en varias ocasiones en Puerto Rico.  Aqui ilustraremos fotos y tarjetas postales sobre este tema.

Sports are an important part of the puertorican culture. Great sports figures of international fame have been borned in Puerto Rico, especially in the sports of Baseball, but also in boxing, basketball, golf, eetc.  In the local schools there is always a "field day" event once or twice a year, and during the year there is a great competitive spirit resulting from the inter-collegiate games.  The Panamerican Games have been held in Puerto Rico a number of times.  Here we will show photos and post cards related to sports figures, stadiums and games.
